I think you might have noticed how I share many short thoughts in these blog posts (journal entries).
There is a reason for this.
I could include many words. Many sentences. Many paragraphs.
But why should I?
The more words I include, the more the message (thought) is
lost. Therefore, it’s better just to keep it short and memorable. That way, it
is easy to think on all day and night long.
After all, we are to pray without ceasing, give thanks in
all circumstances, rejoice always, and meditate on the Word day and night.
Having a simple thought is far more powerful and makes us
think more than a whole lot of words and makes it more likely we will do the
things I just mentioned in the previous paragraph.
The thoughts I share on this blog are meant to get us to think
and keep us thinking. All day and night.
I write short thoughts because it increases the chance you
will think on it, remember it, and apply it to our lives.
This is why I oftentimes write just a couple of lines and no
more.
To help us think and keep thinking, so it helps us turn more
to the Lord and Bible.
I don’t want to overcomplicate things.
We do not stop and think enough in this life and think that
is much of the problems we have today.
Think of God. Think on the Bible. Pray. Give thanks. Praise
Him. Rejoice.
Think on these things.
